AN ANALYSIS OF INTERVENTION PROGRAMMES AVAILABLE FOR LEARNERS WITH DYSLEXIA IN MAINSTREAM PRIMARY SCHOOLS

The purpose of this study was to analyse the effectiveness intervention programmes available for learners with dyslexia in mainstream primary schools. A concurrent triangulation design mixed methods research approach employed. Questionnaires were used collect quantitative data while semi-structured interviews qualitative data. simple random sampling technique select a sample 150 teachers. Purposive sample. Quantitative analysed through Statistical Package Social Sciences (SPSS) version 24. Qualitative and interpreted thematically. established that there very limited at infant than junior level.
